Water Innovation in Action brings together the province's water sector players, including industry, government, municipalities, and academia, to discuss progress, plans, and goals for our thriving sector. At this event, you'll also learn from colleagues who are successfully implementing actionable, innovation water solutions in Ontario now.

Wednesday October 24-25
World Water-Tech North America
Now in it's sixth year, World Water-Tech North America, hosted by Rethink Events, gathers municipalities, private utilities, corporate investors, engineering giants and technology companies. Featuring 60-game changing speakers and the most exciting water start-ups on the market, join us for 2 days of content and networking.
One of the round table discussions features Cyber Security, Climate & Infrastructure: How can cities develop assets that are both climate and cyber-threat resilient?

At a separate event, the Everglades Foundation is hosting The George Barley Water Prize Stage 3 Awards at the Toronto Reference Library at 4:30 p.m.
The Everglades Foundation’s George Barley Water Prize is the largest water prize of its kind. Launched in 2016, the Prize was developed to spur innovation and uncover new technologies, solving the global issue of phosphorus pollution. Currently in its third stage, the Barley Prize garnered over 100 applicants from 13 different countries. Of these original teams, only four will move on to compete in the final stage, The Grand Challenge.
Thursday October 25
The five finalist teams of the AquaHacking 2018 Challenge compete for the top spot at the exciting conclusion of this competition, hosted at the iconic Design Exchange.
