On behalf of the Board of the Netherlands-Canada Chamber of Commerce (NCCC) and the Ambassador of Canada, H.E. Ms. Sabine Nölke, we are pleased to invite you to the NCCC’s 2018 Kick-off Reception and to welcome two special VIP guest presenters.
Former Ambassador and GAC Assistant Deputy Minister Jill Stirk and University of Waterloo researcher Dr. Bessma Momami of the Centre for International Governance Innovation and the Pierre Elliott Trudeau Foundation, have coauthored a recent study called Diversity Dividend: Canada’s Global Advantage. The study examines the relationship between diversity and economic prosperity and presents some interesting findings (e.g., a one percent increase in ethnocultural diversity is associated with an average 2.4 percent increase in revenue and a 0.5 percent increase in workplace productivity) and recommendations. While the study is largely focused on Canada, its findings are nevertheless relevant for European audiences. During this event, the highlights of the study will be explained.
We look forward to raising our glasses to a happy, healthy and prosperous 2018.
